-Etiolation-

An etiolated leaf
yearning it's green vigour
has not lost it's shine yet
though it's feeble presence
in the world
where it belongs to
has survived for more than a decade
through an inconspicuous attachment

a span so long
and unnatural
unheard of
any flora
breathing so long
in the jungles of life
where everything
and anything else
lives and
transpires
through their
own stem
trunk
and roots

but
there occurred
a mutation
as if
an irony
it did glimmer
for sometime
but then
started radiating

as if
a colourful story
but amiss!
started
losing it's charm
slowly
and now
has become the past
with it's ruins
waiting
for a rain
pouring down
spurting out
from a settled
old and
silenced cloud
condensed
filled
with the vapours
of tranquillity
erupting
from an old
dissociate memory
but infused only and only
with love!!
